D.L. Anderson (b. 1982) is a photographer and filmmaker based in Durham, North Carolina, where he works on staff at the Independent Weekly and as a contributing photographer for numerous editorial and entertainment clients. Reared among the cornfields of the Midwest and now wandering through the thick kudzu of the South, he strives to tell stories that explore our identity with a place and its history with a focus on agriculture, musical traditions and the impact of globalization on rural and migrant communities.
