The Montana House
The Montana House is one of the first stories in a current project I'm perusing with my brother. We are traveling around the United States on bicycles seeking out innovative attempts at relocalizing culture and economy in an environmentally/socially responsible way. Some of the themes we are looking at are rethinking business models to facilitate more personal and local exchange, reinventing living spaces to allow for more community at home, protecting small-town economies so that more labor and capital stays within the town, and organizing public spaces to foster the arts and facilitate a more social environment.
